Heart O'Chicago Motel was built in 1957
The sign is as old as the motel. The owner makes a great effort to keep it in good repair, to the point of flying to Las Vegas to buy spare parts. This type of sign and its dimensions are no longer allowed on the sidewalks of Chicago.
