LIZA MOURA

Is a photographer graduated since 2018 in photojournalism by the School of Photography Spéos in Paris, she has a sharp artistic vision. As concerned with photographic technique, she seeks sensitive and instinctive photography.

Her photography at the beginning dedicated to studio and news quickly evolved into photodocumentary where she seeks to make a testimony of human, cultural traces such as ethnic groups, religions or the socio-economic and political aspects of society. Her approach evolves towards a methodology where intimacy with his subject has created an immersive practice that seeks the closest contact as possible with the subject and its life story to give images to emotions.

Since 2018 Liza divides her time between personal documentary projects and corporate work for companies in different countries in Europe. In 2021 she joined the European Union's training program in the preservation and enhancement of photographic archives, with European partners, including the Magnum Foundation, UNESCO and Deusto Universidad from Bilbao. Always interested in the arts, before photography she studied art history at the University of Paris Nanterre. In 2022, Liza had the opportunity to work on editing projects for renowned photographer Sebastiao Salgado.

She is an award-winning visual storyteller Brazilian Portuguese based in Paris since 2011 and available for commissions and artistic collaborations.

Available for assignment worldwide. Feel free to contact for new projects.
